Priest Lake 2012

so when dawson was writing me on occasion on his mission,
he happened to mention priest lake once or twice
and even casually brought up that his family was going right when he got home
and that i might possibly even get an invite.
well when he got home things didn't quite go as planned
and there was not one little mention of me being included on the trip.
(he didn't even bring his cell phone with him!)
i was thoroughly disappointed that i missed out on that trip, but we've decided it was for the best.
nevertheless, i was soooo excited to be able to go on this year's priest lake trip!

priest lake was one of the most beautiful places i've ever been.
we had a house right on the water so we could just wake up and go out on the lake.
we didn't do any early morning wakeboarding though because the boys were busy golfing.
but we still got plenty of hours in on the wakeboard, the wakesurf, and the tubes!

as much fun as we had going out on the boat,
we had so much fun at the lake house playing on the beach, roasting s'mores,
working out, catching butterflies, defending ourselves from the birds on the dock,
napping, cliff jumping, enjoying the beautiful sunsets, etc.
we also played a killer game of minute to win it, which you can enjoy here.

now let me say this right now:
i have the absolute cutest nieces on the face of the planet!
and if anyone tries to tell me differently i am more than willing to fight about it.
not only are they already gorgeous, but they are so much fun.
i would almost be willing to have a baby if i knew it was going to be as sweet as presley and maybelle!

oh, and jamie (the mother of those darling children) got to celebrate her bday at priest lake too!
jamie is so much fun and i'm so glad she's my SiL.
you know you love someone when you're willing to pee in the same water together...

it was such a fun week and i'm so glad i am a part of the kent family.
even though i didn't go on that trip 2 years ago, this one went above and beyond my expectations,
especially being able to spend time with my amazing husband at a place he loves so much.
a big shout out to blair and diana for planning everything and taking us on such a fun trip,
love you guys!!!
