as much as we love colin, jamie and the girls and wish they lived in utah,
we sure love visiting them in san francisco.
they are the best hosts, stocking the fridge with everything we like
(chocolate milk and string cheese),
hitting the town with us for date nights,
and those girls sure make us question our decision to wait on having babies.
they are the cutest, most well behaved little kids you'll ever meet!

engagement anniversary

we got engaged in SF over spring break 2 years ago
and we've been lucky enough to go back every year since
(colin and jamie live in SF and are the best hosts).

they let us take their car and we went and did our usual city activities,
but my favorite is always going to the little beach where dawson pulled off the best surprise
and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him..

Spring Break

Thanks to my flight finding skillz we scored a KILLER deal on flights to SF so we booked a last minute trip for Daw's Spring Break.  

I was so excited because we had gone on Spring Break there the year before, which is when we got engaged, and I'm super sentimental like that.

We went to "our spot" and relived the moment of course, which was tender and reminded me how happy/lucky I am Dawson proposed to me.  But mostly we hung out with our fav California residents Colin, Jamie, Presley and Maybelle (and lucky for us Diana was there too), which let's be honest, is the most fun we could have asked for!

San Francisco

San Fran has a very special place in my heart... because it's where Dawson and I got engaged of course.  I was so stoked that we were spending our

3 month 

anniversary there.  We had less than 24 hours, but we are amazing (and dawson is amazing with directions) and were able to see a lot of the city and go almost everywhere we went the day we got engaged (minus the place where we actually GOT engaged) without a car.

We ALSO got to go all these places with Ashley!  I adore Ashley... Some of my best memories of my life include this girl.  I promise you, you will not meet someone who is more fun or who can make you laugh as much as her.  You will also never meet someone that you'd rather be lost in the wilderness with... the girl is fearless and savage, give her a spear and you will never go hungry.
